Unfortunately It's not "all good". Like yourself perhaps, we've wished on occasion that our start-up team had someone truly objective when we were in the scrum, as we passionately argued, challenged, and doubted each other. A person that knew our start-up reality, has lived the constant pressure of deliverables, and knows the trappings of a competitive "team" dynamic.
Let's be real, teams struggle to push through, or they just implode. An EIR often knows less than you do, and your venture partner is either un-reachable, frustrated with you, or not really a coach. "Just figure it out" is not really a solution!
